Who is I am Kratom?
I am Kratom is a midwest-based kratom brand developed by users for users. I am Kratom has been a consumer-centered project with the goal to build a brand based primarily on verified consumer feedback. For 2 years, we surveyed smoke shops, online vendors, consumers, and manufacturers across the United States to find brands in their prime. We then vetted every brand, visiting manufacturing facilities, inspecting import records, and independently testing product quality.
Based on all of these factors, we chose the top manufacturer to source our first product from. We learned that rather than import from random vendors, it’s best to work with those who have been exporting to the US for years. To date, we have had one mass batch that has had massive success in stores from California Wisconsin to Ohio. We work with our retail stores to constantly analyze consumer data and periodically collect feedback. Our goal is to understand where this brand is excelling and where it needs to improve. As we prepare for batch # 2, we will implement more thorough lab tests, new blend recipes, and better tracing.
In 2016, the kratom industry and its partners faced the threat of a Federal Ban on the super substance. Users of the product protested the ban with fervor, and the fight was publicized under the hashtag #iamkratom. The meaning of the phrase “I am Kratom” is different for everyone, but for us, it’s simple:
